Westerham Town Council is excited to announce it is working in partnership with local operator Padel Up to bring padel courts to King George’s Field in Westerham.
As part of the ongoing redevelopment of King George’s Field, we propose to transform the under used courts into a vibrant, all-weather community sports hub, providing both padel courts and a half basketball court.
The new courts will offer Britain’s fastest growing sport to Westerham residents. Padel is easy to learn and a fun and social way to stay active. It can be played by all ages and abilities. The facility will be built for the whole community to enjoy and will provide fully-accessible courts, offering both pay-and-play and membership.
Westerham Town Council Chair, Cllr Lord said: “We are delighted to be able to improve the amenities at King George’s Field for local people. I would like to thank Padel Up for fully funding the delivery of this facility, at zero cost to the taxpayer.”
